Back in the days of both Sports Sunday and Sports OffCenter, Mike created a variety of characters to poke fun at the wide world of sports. Though they were all great fun to write and perform, two of them got more acclaim than the others. So, Mike decided to let those two sports geniuses live on. You'll be able to find new segments from Coach Leon Springs and NASKAR Kenny on Mike's YouTube channel. If you truly enjoy those passionate icons of football and motor racing, you'll need to become a sponsor at Mike's Patreon page, though, because roughly half of the new creations will be exclusively for subscribers. You won't want to miss out.

NASKAR Kenny |
Leon Springs has coached six-man high school football in West Texas for roughly 40 years. During a career that saw him lead four different schools to third place finishes in their districts, Coach Springs came to understand the nuts and bolts of American football as few other men have. It was the discovery of his unique insight that led Coach to enter broadcasting and begin providing commentary on both professional and college football. With a devoted following in the tens of people, Coach speaks regularly from his studio apartment that overlooks a practice field near Pecos.

NASKAR Kenny loves stock car racing perhaps because his mama gave him the name, though sadly, spelling was not her strong suit. His world famous visions of victory began after a 1962 Chevy Nova fell off a service ramp at the garage where he worked and landed on his head. Beginning almost immediately after he came to, Kenny could look in an oil pan and see who was destined to win that week's big race. Once or twice, he was even proven correct. Kenny lives behind his mother's trailer in Piddle, Mississippi and continues to comment on motor sports and other topics.
